All of the custom-made jewelry, crafts and other products we sell are carefully selected to respect the ethical and ecological principles of fair trade while showcasing the beautiful designs, traditions and culture of Brazil and the Amazon.

It is Mother Nature herself that provides all of the materials used to create Terra Amazonia’s unique products. Seeds and leaves collected from the ground become beautiful jewelry and decorative objects, clay into sculptures of little women and angels...fish scales metamorphose as jewelry and beautiful flowers...all preserving Brazilian culture and traditions as well as providing income for its artists, craftsmen and communities.
Ethical
Terra Amazonia’s jewelry, earrings, baskets and decor items are chosen not only for their uniqueness and beauty but also for their environmental preservation and sustainability. In fact, sustainability is one of the foundations of our mission. All materials used by our artisans are from nature or from materials that are recycled into usable articles. Some of our artists collect coconuts to make their articles while others use grass, seeds, or fish scales harvested after the catch.
Equitable
Terra Amazonia chooses its products by respecting the ethical and ecological principles of fair trade. We work with several foundations, cooperatives, associations and NGOs in the Amazon and Brazil to source all of the jewelry, necklaces, earrings and other decorative items that we sell. Our mission is to support local communities and artisans. Not only does it provide income but also helps preserve the traditions and culture of the indigenous people of the Amazon basin.
